The cinematographic version of the absurdist play The Chairs by Eugene Ionesco, filmed in a theatre without audience. Ionesco’s play entails the story of an old couple who lives in an uninhabited tower, frantically preparing chairs for a series of invisible guests who are coming to hear an orator reveal the Old Man's discovery.
